Description

In recent times have seen the term "obesity" used to describe a condition where a person has turned into a diseased vessel. Because it resembles the pathology of fatal diseases, the internal pathology of obesity is too mysterious. Numerous organizations have declared a simultaneous epidemic of obesity and the coronavirus disease of 2019 (COVID-19) after observing their escalation in the recent past. Here, the internal environment of adipocytes, oxidative stress, cytokine storm, interleukin, and their role in the cascades of inflammatory pathology are described. Major determinants like the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system (RAAS) and angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) are extremely sensitive molecular factors. Data from different nations provided a clinical overview of how a higher body mass index (BMI) is related to a higher risk of COVID-19. It also sheds light on how obese patients, including children under the age of 13, must be admitted to intensive care units and treated for COVID-19 under the most aggressive therapeutic approaches. The search for a cure for obesity is currently being pursued by a large number of studies, most of which are concentrating on natural resources and cutting-edge therapies due to the reported fatal side effects of current pharmaceutical treatments. Finally, it is talked about how combating obesity will be a solution in the future. This review sheds light on coagulation, inflammatory parameters, cardiometabolic issues, endothelial dysfunctions, and immunological infirmity caused by COVID-19 in obese people. This review has developed a conceptual framework for the relationship between inflammatory pathophysiological events and the escalation of fatal outcomes.
