Description
In the synthesis of novel therapeutics one can aid them by using the use of proteins and peptides. Unfortunately, their macromolecular natures restrict them their utilities in drug delivery applications. Nanocarriers aids in lowering these restrains in applications in drug delivery and assists in increased bioavailability and the delivery of therapeutic biomacromolecules like proteins and peptides. A smart nanocarriers-based drug delivery system is one that features site-specific drug delivery that is regulated against all physiological barriers and then metabolised in the body. In this review, we aim to analyse the background literature on various nanocarriers and their applications in various drug delivery techniques along with clinical uses. We also focused on various biophysical aspects of proteins and peptides while summarizing this review. Various patents, research papers, and reports have been well studied for nanocarrier reported to deliver these biomacromolecules.
